Mary Kate Chaath is development strategist and the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Just Vision, an organization that highlights the power and reach of Palestinians and Israelis working to end the occupation and build a future of freedom, dignity and equality. In this role, she leads the organization's overall strategic plan and execution towards revenue growth.
Mary Kate has more than 15 years of experience in non-profit leadership, fundraising and program management. Before joining Just Vision, she was the Managing Director of the Mid-Atlantic Region for UNICEF USA, where she formulated and executed the strategic vision for the organization in the region to fundraise, build visibility and advocate for UNICEF. Prior to that, Mary Kate worked with non-profit organizations focused on international development and humanitarian aid in the Middle East with field experience in both Qatar and Gaza.
Mary Kate graduated from American University with a degree in International Studies, participated in the Palestine and Arabic Studies Program at Birzeit University and is a graduate of Princeton AlumniCorps Emerging Leaders program. She lives in Washington, DC, where she likes to experiment in the kitchen, hike and listen to podcasts. She also enjoys traveling and exploring new places through art and design.
