Hannah Lawrence
Manager of Institutional Partnerships

Hannah is the Manager of Institutional Partnerships for Just Vision, a nonprofit that highlights the power and reach of Palestinians and Israelis working to end the occupation and build a future of freedom, dignity and equality. Prior to joining Just Vision, Hannah was a Development Associate for the Boston-based sustainability nonprofit, Ceres. In this role, she helped oversee the organization’s portfolio of climate and clean energy grants, working closely with program staff to track deliverables and articulate impact.

During the spring of 2015, Hannah interned with Just Vision while completing her graduate thesis, which focused on the archiving of al-Nakba and the dehistoricization of Palestinian refugees. She was also a Graduate Research Intern for the Center for Economic and Social Rights (CESR), a nonprofit organization promoting human rights through social justice.

Hannah holds an M.A. in Near Eastern Studies from New York University, where she was a Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellow from 2013-15. She graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and Justice Studies, with concentrations in Middle Eastern Studies and Women’s Studies, from the University of New Hampshire. While at UNH, Hannah received a grant in 2012 to travel to Egypt and conduct research on the women’s rights movement post-Mubarak.
