Suhad Babaa is the Director of Programming at Just Vision, an organization dedicated to increasing media coverage and support for Palestinian and Israeli civilians working nonviolently to end the occupation and the conflict. In this role, Suhad formulates Just Vision's community and campus outreach strategy, coordinates the development and distribution of Just Vision's educational resources, and works intensively with educators and community leaders across the US.
Previously, Suhad spent time in the Republic of Korea, where she worked with People’s Solidarity for a Participatory Democracy (PSPD), conducting comparative country research on the US military realignment plan in Japan and South Korea. In 2007, she joined Faculty for Israeli-Palestinian Peace (FFIPP) in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. While in the region, she worked with the Applied Research Institute Jerusalem (ARIJ), and developed and taught English for a youth summer camp in Sakhnin.
Suhad is a New Leaders Fellow at the Center for Progressive Leadership, a national civic training institute that develops young leaders across the country. She graduated with Honors from the University of Pennsylvania where she received a B.A. in Politics, Philosophy & Economics.
