Production Intern The Just Vision Production Intern will support the Communications and Production Manager in planning and implementing online outreach and press strategies to maximize the impact of Just Vision's upcoming short film. An ideal candidate will demonstrate an interest in documentary film, proficiency in Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro and Motion, as well as best practices for video conversion for the web. Enthusiasm and flexibility are invaluable. The intern will also assist the Just Vision production team in creatings on-the-road pieces and video portraits.
Responsibilities:
- Logging and capturing
- Converting media for the web
- Researching digital outreach strategies & new media
- Preparing & sending press materials
- Duplicating DVDs
- Organizing footage archive on tape and harddrive
- Supporting in the creation of photoslideshows and other multimedia pieces, as necessary.
Arabic or Hebrew proficiency and prior knowledge of the Israeli-Palestinian context a plus.
Interns will be required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week and will be based in our New York office.

Development & Communications Intern
Following the recent release of its newest documentary on Jerusalem, My Neighbourhood, Just Vision will be launching an extensive and outreach and community engagement campaign to bring its films and related materials to decision-makers, journalists, community leaders and educators around the US and internationally. Likewise, as Just Vision's impact grows internationally, so does its need to maintain donor relationships and track impact. The Development and Communications Intern will be primarily responsible for supporting the Manager of Communications and Public Relations and the Manager of Strategic Relationships in implementation of outreach strategy, managing donor relationships, conducting research to support Just Vision's efforts to reach new communities and garner support from philanthropic individuals, and developing written materials reflective of Just Vision's work.
Responsibilities:
• Mapping local groups and communities who serve as target audiences for Just Vision's films and supplementary materials. • Coordinating and assisting with Just Vision's screenings and events. • Corresponding with festivals, theaters, community groups, universities and other venues where Just Vision events are being held. • Conducting research on individuals who may be potential funders of Just Vision, using the Foundation Center, Lexis-Nexis, Internet search engines and other databases. • Preparing written summaries of findings for Manager of Strategic Relationships and Executive Director. • Keeping prospect research chart accurate and up-to-date. • Handling confidential information with integrity. • Maintaining a comprehensive Salesforce database. • Attending lectures, events and conference and reporting to the team. • Tracking screenings and press coverage. • Assisting with administrative tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:

Development & Operations Intern
We are seeking an intern to support our fundraising efforts, including conducting prospect research, writing program summaries, tracking impact and maintaining/updating our donor database.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct research on foundations and individuals who may be potential funders of Just Vision, using the Foundation Center (either online or at the Washington, DC branch), Lexis-Nexis, Internet search engines and other database • Prepare written summaries of findings for the Director of Institutional Giving • Keep prospect research chart accurate and up-to-date • Assist Director of Institutional Giving and Executive Director with proofreading (proposals, reports, etc.) and packaging for submission • Assist in tracking Just Vision's impact and reach • Attending lectures, events and conference and preparing reports for the team • Data entry and Administrative tasks, as necessary

Digital Media & Communications Intern
The Digital Media and Communications Intern will support the Communications and Production Manager and Digital Resources and Education Coordinator at Just Vision in the development and maintenance of Just Vision’s multilingual Drupal website (www.justvision.org). In this role, the intern will learn how content is developed, edited and formatted for the Web, launched and promoted. Interns will be responsible for creating and updating pages and graphics. The Digital Media and Communications Intern may also be responsible for updating Just Vision’s online communication platforms, including Facebook and Twitter. If the intern shows interest, they may play a role in some data visualizations projects that tell a story of documentary film and impact.
Responsibilities: • Assist in developing web-based content for Just Vision’s website • Maintain and update web pages, including graphics and text • Review and refine existing content on Just Vision’s website • Update online communication platforms, including Facebook and Twitter
Qualifications:
• Prior experience maintaining websites and working with Drupal, HTML and/or Adobe design software is encouraged • Strong attention to detail and highly organized • Must be able to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects • Ability to work both independently and within a team • Self-starter, highly motivated, and proactive • Ability to listen carefully, learn quickly, and think critically

Education & Programming Intern
Just Vision is currently seeking a detail-oriented Education and Programming Intern with strong English writing abilities to join our team in on a part-time basis. The Education Intern will be based in Washington, D.C. and must be available to work 15 hours/week. The Education and Programming Intern will support the Digital Resources and Education Coordinator at Just Vision in the development of Just Vision’s resources and educator/faith-based outreach. The intern will learn about constituency engagement and gain insight into program development, implementation and evaluation.
Responsibilities: • Conduct research on educators and faith leaders who may be interested in engagement opportunities with Just Vision • Prepare written summaries of findings for the Digital Resources and Education Coordinator • Develop and maintain contact lists for educators and faith leaders • Assist in reviewing digital resources that accompany our films and Visionary interviews prior to publication • Assist in developing a report for educator evaluations/feedback • Updating the Just Vision website • Assisting with administrative tasks as necessary
