Ta'ayush
(Arabic for “coexistence”) Founded in 2000 as a grassroots movement of “Israelis & Palestinians striving together to end the Israeli occupation and to achieve full civil equality through daily non-violent direct-action.” Some of its major activities include accompanying Palestinian farmers and sheep herders to their lands, supporting Palestinians in water-sanitation initiatives and other restoration activities, participating in protests of Israel’s Separation Barrier and the displacement of Palestinians from their homes, as well as raising awareness to the effects of Israel’s occupation on the Palestinian population.
