After Bat-Chen Shahak was killed by a suicide bomber, her parents, Tzvika and Ayelet Shahak, discovered her diaries, filled with poems about peace. They published her poems in Hebrew and Arabic (and subsequently several other languages) and created a peace education foundation in her name.
