Arabic Interview Proofreader/Editor

Just Vision generates awareness and support for Palestinians and Israelis working to end the occupation and the conflict without arms.  Just Vision emerged in 2003 in response to the lack of information about Palestinian and Israeli civilians working for nonviolent solutions to the conflict. While violent extremism receives front-page exposure, courageous nonviolence leaders and peacebuilders are often invisible within their own societies and beyond.  Consequently, at Just Vision, we work to ensure that these Palestinian and Israeli civic leaders are not only taken seriously as partners in the quest for peace, but are also more visible and influential in their efforts.

Our principal areas of work are 1) producing award-winning documentaries and multimedia that garner international attention from press to policymakers and thus become agents of social change and 2) using the documentaries to implement strategic outreach campaigns in the U.S and the Middle East.  Just Vision’s first film, Encounter Point, tells the story of ordinary Palestinians and Israelis who overcome personal tragedies and grief to work for peace. Our newest film, Budrus, recently released theatrically in the U.S. and U.K features Palestinians who, along with Israelis, come together in a West Bank village to change their difficult circumstances without arms.
